Inland Northwest Partners

Inland Northwest Partners, a regional nonprofit economic development organization, named the winners of its Hometown Hero Awards. The Community Award goes to the town of Fairfield for creating a community advisory board to improve the town with services and projects. The Partnership Award goes to Palouse Knowledge Corridor, which brings together public and private groups to work on issues that affect the region. The Hall of Fame Award goes to Dr. Gene Merrell of the University of Idaho. The Hometown Hero Award goes to The Jacklin Family and its grass growing business.
