Pan

Dr. Shouan Pan is the new chancellor for Seattle Colleges, replacing Chancellor Jill Wakefield, who is retiring June 30 after 40 years with Seattle Colleges. Wakefield was appointed in 2009, and will be the longest-serving chancellor in the district's history when she retires. Pan is president of Mesa Community College in Mesa, Arizona. He was born and raised in Mainland China, and has over 25 years of teaching and administrative experience in higher education. Seattle College District has nearly 50,000 students.
