Life Science Washington, a life science trade association, has a new president and CEO: Leslie M. Alexandre. She was director for the Office of Research Development and Collaborations at Georgia Regents University Cancer Center, and president and CEO of North Carolina Biotechnology Center. There are about 800 life sciences organizations in the state employing nearly 100,000 people.
