Perkins Coie named Toby Brown chief practice management officer. He will lead revenue management and efficiency programs, legal project management, pricing, process improvement, practice innovation, alternative staffing and new partner integration. He was with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld as chief practice officer. Andy Culbert joined the intellectual property practice as a partner in Seattle. He was Microsoft's associate general counsel for worldwide intellectual property litigation. Culbert will also teach intellectual property law at University of Washington School of Law. Perkins Coie has more than 1,000 lawyers in 19 offices across the United States and Asia.
