Women Business Owners will give the Nellie Cashman Award to one of five finalists on Thursday, Oct. 6, at an awards banquet in the Four Seasons Hotel in Seattle. October is Women's Small Business Month. Nellie Cashman, who died in 1925, operated a variety of businesses from British Columbia to Arizona that made her financially independent. Here are this year's finalists: Sari Davidson, BooginHead; Andrea Duffield, Mosaic Rehabilitation; Terry L. Jacobson, MD, RPh, FACP; Alissa Leinonen, Gourmondo Co.; and Nancy Lee Smith, Washington Liftruck.
