The South Sound/Southwest Washington law firm Phillips Burgess hired Michael Kelly and Kent van Alstyne as associate attorneys. Kelly served two tours of duty in the Middle East prior to attending Gonzaga University School of Law. His practice focuses on business law and real estate. Van Alstyne attended Lewis & Clark Law School, and was a clerk for the Environmental Protection Agency and Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals, and was a staff attorney with Pierce County Housing Justice Project. His practice focuses on land use and environmental law.
