Washington STEM named one of its founders, Caroline King, chief executive officer. King has over 20 years of experience in education policy, with a focus on science, technology, engineering and math. She has served as Washington STEM's chief policy and strategy officer for seven years, and was executive director of the Partnership for Learning and a founding member of Harvard's Public Education Leadership Project.
