Renton-based AIM Aerospace received a $125,000 grant to fund expansion and job creation at its facilities in Pierce and King counties. The money comes from the state Department of Commerce through the Economic Development Board of Tacoma-Pierce County. AIM designs and makes carbon fiber parts. It is moving its Auburn operations to Sumner and upgrading manufacturing facilities there and in Renton.
