Kirk Nelson and Dr. Robert Williams joined the board of Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason in Seattle. Nelson is CEO and president of AAA Washington and previously was Washington president of Qwest. Williams managed Windows and Windows Phone groups at Microsoft, and directed Amazon's Appstore prior to that. He holds 10 U.S. patents in chemistry. The institute advances science that fights immune system diseases.
