Tool Gauge

Tool Gauge received a $125,000 Work Start grant from the state Department of Commerce to hire and train workers for its Tacoma factory, which is undergoing a $20 million expansion. Tool Gauge makes plastic and metal assemblies for the aerospace industry. The expanded factory will open this fall. Grant partners are the Economic Development Board for Tacoma-Pierce County and Impact Washington, a nonprofit small business manufacturing consultant.
