April 5, 2019
On April 9, Adopt A Stream Foundation ecologists and fish habitat restoration technicians will team with 100 volunteers from Project SeaWolf to plant 1,000 small trees next to Middle Fork Quilceda Creek at Strawberry Field Park in Marysville. Much of the forested and wetland area next to the creek has been lost to development. New trees will help keep water temperature cool, filter pollutants, hold water during rainy periods and slowly release water during dry periods.
