$219M library levy heading to ballot

SEATTLE — The Seattle City Council unanimously approved a seven-year, $219.1 million Libraries for All levy proposal on Monday.

The levy would increase or preserve existing hours and staffing at Seattle public libraries, expand collections of physical and digital materials, and eliminate overdue fines.
