King County
King County Executive Dow Constantine named John Diaz as interim director of the Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention. Diaz has been in public service for over 30 years, including a stint as Seattle police chief. The county has been unsuccessful in two national searches for a permanent director. Diaz will assist with the third.
