Oregon automation firm acquired

SEATTLE — Applied Industrial Technologies said it agreed to acquire automation solutions provider Olympus Controls Corp. of Tualatin, Oregon, in a transaction expected to close before the end of August. Terms of the deal were not released.

The 80-plus person Olympus provides design, assembly, integration and distribution of motion control, machine vision and robotic technologies.
