Monorail fare boost starts Oct. 7

SEATTLE — The Seattle Center Monorail is getting ready to accept ORCA transit passes, but the change will come with a fare boost starting Oct. 7.

Adult one-way fares are set to increase to $3, up from $2.50. One-way fares for passengers age 5-12 will rise from $1.25 to $1.50. Monthly passes and reduced-rate fares will also increase.
