Department of Ecology

Washington Department of Ecology Director Maia Bellon says she is stepping down at year end after nearly seven years of leading the agency. Bellon has worked for the state for 25 years. She plans to take some time off and then become a lawyer focusing on environmental law and policy. Ecology did not say who would replace Bellon.
