Seattle-based Summit Law Group added four lawyers: Seth J. Berntsen and Hathaway Burden in the litigation and labor/employment law practices; and Diana Siri Breaux and David H. Smith in the litigation practice. Berntsen represents employers in wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour issues, non-competition and other employment matters. Burden specializes in commercial and employment litigation; and clerked for Justice Mary Yu of the Washington State Supreme Court. Breaux focuses on commercial agreements and intellectual property, including license and contract disputes, business torts, anti-counterfeiting and anti-piracy actions, patent and trademark litigation, and securities litigation. Smith practices in complex civil litigation and criminal defense, with a focus on health care and environmental/workplace safety.
