Colleen Echohawk won the District 4 Martin Luther King Jr. Medal of Distinguished Service from King County. Echohawk is executive director of Chief Seattle Club and founder of the Coalition to End Urban Native Homelessness. The annual award recognizes individuals whose work helps others.
