Hecla Mining Co.

Coeur d'Alene, Idaho-based Hecla Mining Co. planned to restart operations yesterday at its Casa Berardi underground gold mine in western Quebec, Canada, after the government of Quebec last month suspended mining operations in the province to fight the COVID-19 outbreak. Hecla says it has no known cases of COVID-19 at any of its operations.
