NYC opens whimsical waterfront park ‘floating' on 132 concrete tulips above the Hudson River

    Little Island is accessed by two bridges.

    The park rests on concrete pots set on pilings of different heights, so that paths wind through the 2.4-acre space at a gentle, rolling grade.
