Squaxin Island Tribe to acquire ancestral lands from Port Blakely

The Squaxin Island Tribe call themselves the people of the water.

The Squaxin Island Tribe has reached historic agreements to acquire approximately 1,000 acres of its ancestral lands from Port Blakely, a forest products company that owns and manages sustainable working forests in Washington, Oregon and New Zealand.
