Evo buys Japanese ski rental company

SEATTLE — Outdoor retailer evo has acquired Rhythm Japan, a Hokkaido-based snow gear rental company.

Evo's stores offer sales, rentals, repairs and maintenance of outdoor gear and equipment. The acquisition is part of evo's growing ski-rental business.
