Betacom, a provider of private 5G wireless networks, announced that its smart airport deployment at Dallas Fort Worth Airport has been recognized as a 2021 OnGo Award winner in Excellence in OnGo Enterprise Deployment. OnGo Award winners were selected based on their distinctive business models, ease of deployment, cost savings, new service offerings and cutting-edge technology, delivered over CBRS spectrum. The winners were selected by a panel of judges led by Joe Madden, founder and chief analyst at Mobile Experts. Joining him were: Melissa Ashurst, CEO at Impact Broadband; Martha DeGrasse, freelance journalist; Iain Gillott, founder and president at iGR; Mark Lowenstein, managing director at Mobile Ecosystem and Monica Paolini, principal at Senza Fili. Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Bellevue, Betacom has regional offices throughout the country. The mission of the OnGo Alliance is to evangelize 4G and 5G OnGo technology, use cases and business opportunities while simultaneously driving technology developments necessary to fulfill the mission, including multi-operator capabilities.
