The property is in a transit-rich, pedestrian-friendly area.

As reported in the DJC on March 1, Sea Mar Community Health Centers recently purchased a newly completed apartment building, at 1807 13th Ave. S. Now more details have emerged about the non-profits plans for the project. The building will provide 39 homes and on-site services for women who have experienced chronic homelessness. Residents of the building's 39 rent and income-restricted homes will have access to on-site case management services to assist them in accessing healthcare, counseling, and financial assistance, as well as education, job training, and employment opportunities. The units are all small efficiency dwellings. There are 42 units total in the building, presumably three of these will be used for Sea Mar offices and on site services. The original owner of the four story development was Build Urban. Skidmore Janette was the architect, and Build Urban served as its own contractor.
