USDA awards Forterra $20M for modular CLT affordable housing

The initiative will create hundreds of modular CLT affordable homes, like this prototype revealed in January.

Forterra's Forest to Home Initiative was recently announced as one of 70 projects to be awarded as part of the United States Department of Agriculture's new Partnerships for Climate-Smart Commodities program. The funds will be used to support the initiative which seeks to convert industrial timber and traditional forest product manufacturing to a BIPOC-owned supply chain for residential/commercial construction.
