Seattle-based Skytap appointed Rahul Tripathi as chief product and technology officer to lead the company's Product and Engineering teams. Tripathi was the CTO and general manager of services and solutions engineering at Nutanix. Before Nutanix, Tripathi was VP of product management and engineering at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. He also worked at Cisco for over a decade, where he brought the first cloud router and virtualization-enabled branch servers to market. Skytap is a cloud service purpose-built to natively run traditional systems in Microsoft Azure and IBM Cloud. Skytap was recently named to the Microsoft Global Independent Software Vendor Program and certified by SAP for Cloud and Infrastructure Operations. Skytap is also used by hundreds of enterprises worldwide to run virtual labs for training, sales demos and POCs.
