Seattle-based DomainTools announced the expansion of its C-suite leadership team with the appointment of Chad Bacher as chief product officer. As CPO, Bacher is responsible for DomainTools' product vision, strategy, and execution, and oversees the company's Product, Engineering, Architecture and Research teams. Bacher joins DomainTools with more than 25 years of technology and cybersecurity experience. Prior to DomainTools, he held executive product leadership roles at Webroot, Malwarebytes, Carbonite and Alert Logic, where he led product development teams that were responsible for building innovative products in hyper-growth environments. DomainTools monitors the Internet and brings together domain, website and DNS data to provide context and machine-learning driven risk analytics delivered in near real-time.
