BJC builds Wendy's restaurant in 5 months

The BJC Group recently completed construction of a Wendy's restaurant in East Bremerton at 4300 Wheaton Way, in the Bremerton Station retail center. The restaurant was developed on an accelerated schedule, taking five months to build.

This new-construction project included a drive-thru, landscaping and sidewalks on an 18,447-square-foot site. The restaurant is 2,545 square feet.

BJC says Wendy's signature red contrasts with the earthy tones brought in by the gray and beige slate on the sides of the building. Continuing this trend inside, the interior has floor-to-ceiling windows, giving patrons natural light that shows off the gray nickel slate of the dining area and blending into beige and white tile of the walls and kitchen. Iron and wood furniture and fixtures add to the modern industrial aesthetic.

The project was developed by WTC Ventures. Ranti Designs was the architect, and Terraforma Design Group was the civil engineer and landscape architect. BJC served as general contractor. The Port Orchard-based company last year finished another Wendy's in Bremerton, this one at 925 Adele Ave.
