Arts venue coming to Third Ave.

SEATTLE — New Rising Sun, the new producers of the Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival, signed a five-year lease to open an arts venue/gallery space at 1930 Third Ave. in downtown Seattle.

The venue, called Cannonball Arts, will open in a sprawling 66,000-square-foot space that was last home to a Bed Bath & Beyond. The retailer closed there in 2018.
