County has $2M for unhoused refugees

SEATTLE — King County on Wednesday announced the award of $2 million to support the rapid assistance of unsheltered asylum-seekers and refugees currently residing in or near Tukwila.

The money will be split between four local nonprofits that are working to provide temporary housing, food, support, and legal services to asylees and refugees in the area.
