Former KCTS building pivots to temporary production space

The building, at 401 Mercer St., is pictured before Cascade PBS moved out.

For nearly 40 years, Cascade PBS (formerly KCTS and Crosscut) operated out of an approximately 64,000-square-foot building at Seattle Center, which it leased from the city of Seattle. The company relocated in January to a new headquarters on First Hill, leaving the future of its old building, at 401 Mercer St. unknown.
