Barghausen Consulting Engineers recently hired nine summer engineering interns at their Kent location.

Harnoor Kaur graduated with an A.A. degree from Green River College in June of 2021. Currently, she studies civil engineering at the University of Washington, and is expected to graduate in June 2025. She previously worked as a construction management intern at the Port of Seattle, an assistant to project manager at Royal Landscaping and Construction, and a market research interviewer for Pacific Market Research.

Harold Nguyen is studying civil engineering and mathematics at Seattle University and is expected to graduate in June 2025.

Helene Babalis is studying civil engineering at Seattle University and is expected to graduate in June 2025. She is involved in the Engineers for a Sustainable World & ASCE Club.

Kari Lau graduated with her A.S. degree from Highline College in June 2023. She is expected to graduate with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington in June 2025.

This will be Malik Said's second summer interning at Barghausen Consulting Engineers. He is currently studying civil engineering at Montana Technological University and is expected to graduate with a B.S. degree in 2025.

Nic Chantorn is studying civil engineering at Seattle University. His previous positions include a part-time AutoCAD drafter, field technician for a residential stormwater design firm, and a co-captain for the ASCE Steel Bridge Competition.

Nicole Dikmen is studying civil engineering at the University of Washington. Previously, she worked as a construction manager assistant for Dikmen Development.

Samuel Lopez graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Civil Engineering in June.

Zachary Camirand obtained is A.A. degree at Pierce College in 2022. He is currently working toward a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Saint Martin's University.

Barghausen also hired Russell Gaul as a summer engineering intern at their Richland location. Gaul graduated from Gonzaga University with a B.S. in Biochemistry in 2011. Now, he is studying civil engineering at Washington State University and is expected to graduate in May 2025. He previously worked as an emergency medical technician for Lifeline Ambulance, an emergency department technician for Providence Holy Family Hospital, and a research associate for Cold Climate Housing Research Center.
