Lowman Beach Park awarded for shoreline restoration

The park’s renovation improved shoreline access, regraded the beach the beach to make it naturally sloping and included planting vegetation beneficial to migrating juvenile salmon.

The American Shore & Beach Preservation Association awarded West Seattle's Lowman Beach Park the Best Restored Shore award earlier this month.
