BNB hosts subcontractor event for Bates Technical College building

BNBuilders is hosting an event for subcontractors and suppliers on August 15th between 3 pm and 5 pm for an open house style informational meeting about bid package opportunities for the new Bates Technical College Fire Service Training Center.

The meeting is at Bates Technical College, South Campus Building E, 2201 S. 78th St., Tacoma.

BNB is looking to hire subcontractors and suppliers that are local, small,minority/veteran/women-owned business.

BNBuilders is signatory to the Laborers and Carpenters Union and is committed to hiring local, minority, and women apprentices.

Bates Technical College (BTC) has hired BNBuilders, The Miller Hull Partnership, and MW Studios as their Progressive Design-Build partners to deliver their new Fire Service Training Center.

The project will be constructed at their South Campus in Tacoma, which will include a new 2-story steel framed academic and training support building (approx. 32,000 square feet) with a fire engine apparatus bay, teaching classrooms, instructor offices, locker rooms and physical training space. The project will also include a CMU and cast-in-place concrete live fire training tower (approx. 10,720 square feet) with outdoor training spaces.
