Ballard Bridge and 15th Avenue improvements underway

This rendering shows new signalized pedestrian crossing and the landscaped median that will run from Northwest 54th Street to Northwest 51st Street.

If you've traveled into or out of Ballard lately, you've probably noticed dust, rough roadways, lane rerouting and slowdowns as crews repave and make safety improvements to busy 15th Avenue Northwest and the 107-year-old Ballard Bridge. The work, funded by the 2015 Levy to Move Seattle, began last month and is scheduled to continue through 2025.
