Metro drops price for ORCA day pass

SEATTLE — King County Metro is offering a special promotion to reduce fares for daily riders.

Starting Friday, ORCA cardholders will see a reduced day pass fare for the next six months. Metro says the adult ORCA day pass will be reduced from $8 to $6, while the reduced fare day pass (for seniors, ORCA LIFT for customers with lower incomes, and customers with disabilities) will drop from $4 to $2. Those 18 and under will continue to ride for free.
