Kitsap Transit gets $13.5M for ferry

By JOURNAL STAFF

WASHINGTON — Kitsap Transit has received $13.5 million in federal funding to replace the fast ferry that serves the Kingston-Seattle route.

U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-WA) announced the funds yesterday, which come from the Federal Transit Administration's Passenger Ferry Grant Program.
