The Washington Chapter of the APWA announced completion of voting on its new 2025-2026 board and 2025 officers. Incoming 2025-2026 board members are: Kim Klinkers, PE, city engineer, city of Lake Stevens; Charlie Green, PE, engineering design manager, Public Works Engineering Services, Snohomish County; Robert McAndrews, MPA, public works director, city of College Place; and Grace Richardson, Puget Sound region marketing manager, David Evans and Associates. Justin Matthews, principal / transportation project manager, KPFF Consulting Engineers, was named the new secretary for 2025. He will be rotating through the officer roles until his presidency in 2028. Also completed was confirmation voting for the current officers who will all advance to the next officer role in 2025: president, Jeff Brauns, PE, public works director, city of Newcastle; vice president, Jim Rioux, project manager, public works engineering, city of Olympia; and treasurer, Caroline Barlow, PE, CMOM program manager, Seattle Public Utilities. The outgoing board members who served from 2023 and will remain until the end of this year are Leah Rohan, PE,city of Walla Walla; Mary Heather Ames, PE, city of Pasco; Bill Preston, PE, city of Yakima; and Justin Matthews, PE, KPFF Consulting Engineers, (voted in as the new 2025 Secretary).
