Longtime eatery closes in the CD

SEATTLE — After 40 years serving the Central District, Jackson's Catfish Corner closed Jan 3.

The neighborhood soul food restaurant and community gathering spot debuted in 1985 and since that time has been run by three generations of the Jackson family at various locations.
