Georgia seaport now tops for autos

SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — A Georgia seaport has surpassed the Port of Baltimore as the top U.S. gateway for automobile imports and exports.

The Georgia Ports Authority said Wednesday that more than 873,000 cars and trucks moved through the Port of Brunswick in 2024.
