Metro resumes fare enforcement

SEATTLE — As of yesterday, King County Metro Fare Enforcement Officers are again asking riders for proof of fare payment on buses and streetcars. Verbal reminders will be given to riders who did not pay.

Metro has deployed 30 enforcement officers across the system, who are currently focused on RapidRide routes, other high-ridership bus routes and the Seattle Streetcar.
