King County Parks gets six rangers

By JOURNAL STAFF

SEATTLE — King County Parks will launch a Park Ranger Program June 7 to enhance the visitor experience across its parks and trails.

The first cohort of six rangers will serve as ambassadors, educators and public safety resources for park visitors. Parks said the program comes in response to community feedback that more of an official staff presence would increase equitable access to parks, trails and natural areas.
