New rules OK'd for Ore. bottle returns

SALEM (AP) — Oregon lawmakers have passed a bill that makes changes to the state's landmark bottle redemption law.

The new legislation will allow sites that redeem 10-cent deposits on empty beverage cans and bottles to stop taking returns during nighttime hours, among other things.
