SEATTLE — King County is canceling plans to establish a new community food hub in South Seattle.
Working with community-based organizations and Food Lifeline, the plan was to convert a 40,000-square-foot warehouse at 815 S. 96th St. into a new space for storing, packing and distributing fresh produce and goods to people and families experiencing food insecurity.
