Transfer station to temporarily close

SEATTLE — Seattle Public Utilities will temporarily close the South Transfer Station at 130 S. Kenyon Street from Aug. 4 to 29 to complete critical repairs, including the replacement of 35,000 square feet of the station floor.

The repairs will enable the continuation of safe, efficient waste handling and ensure uninterrupted service in the future.
