RENTON — The city of Renton says it is looking at ways to bring small-scale businesses — like coffee shops and corner stores — into residential neighborhoods.
The city is currently gathering opinions from community stakeholders. City staff will then use this information to create policy recommendations for the city's Planning Commission to review. This includes possible locations for neighborhood retail, allowed uses, hours of operation, signage, parking, lighting and more.
