New fares for ferries this fall

OLYMPIA — Increased fares for state ferries will go into effect this fall. The Washington State Transportation Commission approved the changes at its meeting Wednesday.

Both vehicle and passenger fares will increase by an average of 3% on Oct. 1, and again on May 1, 2026.
