Another SBUX bites the dust

SEATTLE — In downtown Seattle, before the pandemic, there must've been a dozen-plus Starbucks locations on the major avenues between the central business district and Pioneer Square. Since then, like other businesses, Starbucks has been ruthlessly closing locations that lack foot traffic — particularly in office districts.

Today, from the waterfront to the freeway, it's increasingly hard to find a green mermaid.
