Metro to bolster Eastside bus trips

KING COUNTY — Starting Aug. 30, King County Metro is adding over 900 weekly bus trips to better serve Eastside communities and improve connections to new 2 Line light-rail stations.

New routes will connect Issaquah Highlands to the 2 Line at South Bellevue Station; Overlake to Downtown Redmond and Redmond Technology stations; and Eastgate to the Downtown Redmond Station, with more frequent 20-minute weekday service.
