Bellevue pilots AI program to improve permit process

The platform will access the city’s code resources and geographic information to answer routine permitting questions, with the goal of freeing staff up to focus on more complex applications.

The city of Bellevue is piloting an AI program in the hopes of streamlining its permitting process while supporting its housing and economic development goals.
